"A group which supplies telephony products and services to businesses, wholesalers and consumers is looking to move after recent growth in its workforce. The business is forecasting it will double in size by the end of 2006 and has begun the search for a new premises with more space.
Infinity Group, which is based at the Edwards Building in Rutland Street, Leicester city centre, has several divisions under the Infinity banner, including Infinity ITC and Infinity Direct.
Ty Wilson, senior communications consultant, said the business is thriving despite turmoil in the sector. He said: “Information technology and telecoms have been through a rough time. We have 33 employees now and, by the end of the year, we should have 70.” Mr Wilson said the group, owned by brothers Palkesh and Simon Thakar, is “rapidly growing” and will look to buy its next home. The business started out importing mobile phones and now supplies a wider range of goods and services."
