We have done work for a diverse range of customers and installed and maintained their PC’s and telephone systems, helping them improve efficiency within their business.
A & J Carter - Design and Manufacture Childrens Clothing - Leicester
A & J Carter are our largest current customer. We have serviced this customer since 1999. Starting out as a business with four to five PC’s the customer now has three servers and upwards of 40 PC’s. Infinity recently provided them with a cache server that replicates all information available at the manufacturing plant and vice versa. As a company we have installed the entire networking infrastructure to support this company and expanded on it to suit. We further provide them with firewall facilities to protect them from malicious attack and ensure they are up to date with branded antivirus and anti spyware software.
Our comms department has recently installed a new Digital Panasonic Switch which caters for the telephony requirement of the expanded workforce with ample room for future expansion. We have introduced the facility of a leased line connection to the internet which allows them to transfer and receive data without the concern of sharing access time with others. All technical support has been provided as and when requested, some onsite and some remotely from here. Our ability to do remote work is time saving and more cost effective. All equipment is Dell Branded and supported by us with Dell’s backup. A formal quote is required and provided for all equipment.
Parker Fine Foods - Quality Meat Supplier - Leicester
We have been providing services to this company for over 7 years. Originally they were based in smaller Leicester premises prior to them purchasing a custom designed unit also based in Leicester. We were involved in that aspect of the move from assisting on network installation to supplying technical support for the business. The company provides quality meat products to a wide range of the consumer market.
We currently still support their technical needs and provide all technical facilities to meet their requirements. This company has a remote site in Kettering which is connected to the head office here in Leicester by similar methods to the above.
Briggs Industrial Footwear - Design and manufacture industrial footware - Leicester
We have supported this company since 1999 when we installed one of their first servers. This was and still is similar to the one we use in our company today. The company produces all aspects of industrial safety equipment across a broad spectrum of retailers across the country. In addition to the server we originally installed we have also upgraded their network on several occasions, replacing network switches to provide faster access to company resources.
This company uses many other resources that are not directly provided by us but we do provide them with technical support and act as a technical interface to the supplier of that service. We are currently in the early stages of providing this customer with the new concept of Virtual Machine computers this is where one piece of hardware hosts multiple software servers on one platform, proving to be very cost effective for the customer.
